About Us

OUR STORY

OUR STORY

Founded in 2015, Melbourne Immanuel Baptist Church began with a heart to serve and support the local Chin community in East Melbourne. Since the beginning, our church has been a welcoming place where people gather to worship, encourage one another, and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Over the years, God has continued to guide and bless our church family. In late 2025, we joyfully opened our new home at Mt Dandenong Road in Kilsyth, creating a place where more people can gather, worship, and experience the love of God together.

Today, our church continues to grow as a community of believers committed to living out our faith and sharing the hope of Christ with others.

OUR COMMUNITY

OUR COMMUNITY

Melbourne Immanuel Baptist Church is a welcoming and supportive community where people of all ages can grow in their faith. We believe the church is more than a building—it is a family where people encourage one another, share life together, and support each other through every season.

Through worship services, prayer gatherings, youth programs, and children’s education, we provide opportunities for everyone to connect, grow spiritually, and serve with purpose.

Our Vision

To be a Christ-centred community where people grow in faith, build meaningful connections, and serve with purpose - impacting lives and reflecting God’s love in our church and the wider world.
